Det kan vara framg\u00e5ng i utst\u00e4llning, jaktprov, viltsp\u00e5r, lydnad, agility eller liknande, men \u00e4ven en mer subjektiv bed\u00f6mning kan ligga till grund f\u00f6r att erh\u00e5lla priset. Det kan till exempel vara en Drent som v\u00e4ckt sina \u00e4gare mitt i natten och f\u00f6rhindrat inbrott eller varnat f\u00f6r eldsv\u00e5da. En s\u00e4rskilt duktig hund som \u00e4r till stor nytta f\u00f6r sin \u00e4gare kan ocks\u00e5 erh\u00e5lla priset. Medlemmar nominerar hund till priset. En av klubben utsedd jury v\u00e4ljer d\u00e4refter ut tre kandidater som presenteras f\u00f6r klubbens medlemmar via DrentNytt och hemsidan. Medlemmarna r\u00f6star d\u00e4refter fram en vinnare. Nomineringsperioden \u00e4r mellan 1 december till 30 november ( i \u00e5r f\u00f6rl\u00e4ngt till 2024-12-31)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Skicka nominering till\u00a0<a class=\"\" href=\"&#x6d;&#97;&#x69;&#x6c;&#116;&#x6f;&#x3a;&#97;&#x72;&#x65;&#116;&#x73;&#x2e;d&#x72;&#x65;n&#x74;&#64;d&#x72;&#101;n&#x74;&#107;l&#x75;&#98;b&#x65;&#110;&#46;&#x73;&#101;\">&#x61;r&#x65;&#116;s&#x2e;&#100;&#x72;&#x65;n&#x74;&#64;d&#x72;&#101;&#x6e;&#116;k&#x6c;&#117;b&#x62;&#101;&#x6e;&#46;s&#x65;<\/a>\u00a0senast 31 december.
